At the end of this course, the learner should be able to illustrate the main principles governing the IMO Member State Audit Scheme and the distinction between Flag, Port, and Coastal State responsibilities. Moreover, the learner should be able to apply this knowledge to their maritime administrations, develop a pre-audit questionnaire and a Corrective Action Plan. Lastly, the learner should be able to conduct an audit interview.
