To understand the unique challenges and stressors faced by seafarers in maintaining their mental health and psychological wellbeing while at sea and explore the impact of prolonged isolation, fatigue, and work-related stress on the mental health of seafarers. To learn about the common mental health disorders experienced by seafarers, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. To understand the role of social support, communication, and coping mechanisms in promoting mental health and psychological wellbeing of seafarers. To identify the barriers to accessing mental health care for seafarers and to learn about the resources available to support their mental health and wellbeing. To examine the cultural factors and attitudes towards mental health in the maritime industry and how they may impact seafarers' mental health. To develop strategies and tools to promote positive mental health and psychological wellbeing in seafarers through preventive and supportive interventions.
